Lemorau’s partner in Germany, Dieter Gansert Graphische Machinen, has sold and installed a highly customized Lemorau CR 520 slitter-rewinder to a local converter.

The machine was highly customized according to a customer’s requirements. Completely re-designed, the high-speed slitter-rewinder was developed in 520mm web width, with an unwinder able to support rolls up to 1m in diameter. It also features automatic positioning of the circular knives, additional mandrils in customized sizes and a double rewinder. The German converter chose to also incorporate air trim removal, anti-static bar, clear on clear sensor, razor knives unit and waste rewinder.

‘A few weeks ago, we sold a new slitter-rewinder, Lemorau CR 520, to a customer in Germany. It will replace an older machine and, thanks to the automatic knife adjustment and the easy-to-understand operating menu, it will make the operator's work much easier,’ commented Dieter Gansert. ‘In fact, after a short introduction, the operator was able to run the machine independently and was very happy with its performance.’

The Lemorau CR is entirely servo driven. In its standard configuration, among other features, it is equipped with an electronic web guide, splice table with pneumatic clamps, electronic counter and 250 job memory for easy and quick setups.
