Labels Fast acquires FS 330 Series from Focus

UK-based converter Labels Fast has installed the latest FS 330 Series slitter/rewinder and die-cutter from Focus Label Machinery (Focus) as part of its ongoing modernization program across a wide range of label production equipment. 

Labels Fast is a family-owned company supplying a range of printed, plain and digital self-adhesive labels, as well as printed and woven textile labels, swing tickets and thermal printing systems to all sectors of industry and retail across the UK.

The new Focus machine is configured as an inspection slitter/rewinder with a full rotary die station for converting blank labels. It has been installed alongside several existing Focus flexo and textile label presses, enabling increased capacity and faster turn-around times.

The Focus FS model is available with web widths of 250mm, 330mm and 430mm and can be supplied with several different configurations, including twin die stations. The large capacity unwind has been specified to accommodate a full master roll, while scissor slitting, pneumatic crush slitting and razor slitting options are all available.

Isaan Farooq, managing director of Labels Fast, commented: ‘As our orders have continued to increase, we needed to increase our capacity for blank label production. We’ve known Focus for many years and already have quite a number of its label printing presses, so we had no hesitation in ordering the new label converter from them.
