Koenig & Bauer Lauvic becomes Koenig & Bauer subsidiary

Koenig & Bauer Lauvic has become a Koenig & Bauer subsidiary.

The press manufacturer will now operate through its own branch office in Spain, effective immediately. The company expects its stronger presence in Spain to benefit users and enable more direct communication between individual business units and manufacturing plants and the local office.

Sascha Fischer, who has held various managerial positions at Koenig & Bauer Sheetfed since 2010, was also appointed the new managing director of the group subsidiary. Previously, he was the head of product management and product marketing for sheetfed presses at Koenig & Bauer’s Radebeul location in Germany.

Koenig & Bauer Lauvic retains its current responsibility for sales and service for the sheetfed offset product portfolio, digital and web offerings and CI flexo presses, with 20 staff to cater to the needs of Spanish print companies.

The previous owners and managing directors José Antonio Díaz and Juan Díaz will remain involved with the company as advisers to the new management.
