Industrial Inkjet has opened an office in Costa Rica to serve Central and South America, citing an increasing interest in digital printing in the region. The company, an industrial inkjet specialist, single-pass print engine manufacturer and distributor and technical support center for Konica Minolta, has appointed Esteban Marin to head up the new operation, which will offer sales and technical support to the region.

Managing director John Corrall said: ‘South America seems to have a real buzz about it at the moment. We have been getting a lot of enquiries from there and we consider it important to position a competent engineer in each region in which we are active. The Latin American market is increasingly significant to our future growth.’
