Maxcess webinar tackles converting challenges
One of the industry leaders will share insights on overcoming label converting obstacles.
Maxcess has announced a webinar focused on addressing common label converting challenges, scheduled for December 15, 2025, in partnership with Labels and Labeling magazine.
The session will feature Paul Young, a Maxcess technical specialist with 32 years of industry experience, who will discuss strategies for overcoming issues from thinner liners to challenging adhesives and new materials. Young specializes in converting applications within the narrow web tag and label industry, with expertise in flexible cutting dies and solid-engraved dies.
'We keep hearing the same challenges facing many converters today. They include significant loss of institutional knowledge as the Baby Boomers and Gen X retire, labor skill gaps in the trade and difficulty recruiting and retaining good talent,' commented Young. 'Continuing advancements toward reducing waste and scrap, recycling and improving sustainability' also present ongoing challenges for the industry.
The webinar will explore how Maxcess invests in automated technology and data analytics to address operator errors, use stored data to recall popular applications for reuse and improve film trim liner challenges. Topics will include tension control, waste reduction and improved machine throughput while helping converters achieve sustainability goals.
Maxcess's portfolio includes brands such as Rotoflex, Tidland, Magpowr, International Cutting Die, Tenortex and Valley Roller. The company serves the converting industry as a global service and support organization, providing local expertise and resources in every region.
