Cellopack to install first Omet iFlex 440

Cellopack, one of Egypt's leading label and self-adhesive materials producers, has ordered the first Omet iFlex 440, a new wider web version of the iFlex platform expanding the press from its standard 370mm web width to 440mm.

The press is configured with ten colors in LED, Omet Cold Foil Saver technology designed to reduce foil consumption by more than 50 percent, self-wound lamination, the new Peel and Seal multi-layer label production system and an ECDC die-cutting unit. The machine is also prepared for future integration of a digital bar for variable data printing.

Founded as a family business and now employing 380 people, Cellopack specializes in the coating and converting of self-adhesive materials, supplying printers across Africa, the Middle East and Mediterranean markets as well as producing and distributing premium labels in Egypt.
