Ahmedabad, India-based label converter, Axigo Multiprint has installed Rhyguan Smart-450 slitter-rewinder equipped with a Luster inspection camera, supplied and installed by Flexo Image Graphics (FIG).
Axigo specializes in end-to-end label printing, including labels, PVC shrink labels and in-mold labels. The company continually embraces modern machinery and equipment to keep pace with the evolving trends of innovative and sustainable printing, backed by transparent, ethical and technology-driven practices.
Nirmal Patel, founder of Axigo Multiprint, said: ‘Although the newly installed Rhyguan Smart-450 is our first machine from FIG, we have been associated with them for years. We are highly impressed with their range of machines, solutions, dedicated team of experienced technicians, friendly cooperation, and unwavering post-sales service support they dedicatedly provide.’
He added: ‘Without a doubt, the Rhyguan Smart-450 from FIG is a compact, robust, and durable slitter-rewinder. Before installing it at our facility, we had witnessed its efficiency in delivering high-speed, high-precision, and defect-free label finishing at several production facilities in our vicinity. The machine is packed with advanced features, innovative technologies, and impressive capabilities.’
Built around advanced servo technology, Rhyguan Smart-450 ensures precise web control, with independently adjustable web tension for the unwinding and rewinding sections. It’s engineered to handle a web width of 450mm, supporting high-speed slitting and re-inspection at the speeds of up to 300m/min. It is also equipped with high-precision slitting knives that enable accurate trimming across a wide variety of materials.
Rhyguan Smart-450 offers automated inspection capabilities. Its integrated Luster camera accurately inspects labels, detects defects, and helps identify and reject faulty products during processing. This automated inspection process helps operators identify and address label defects before further slitting, improving production efficiency, minimizing errors, and maintaining consistent quality throughout the finishing process.
Under a strong leadership, leading a team of more than 20 highly skilled and experienced printing and production professionals from the front, Axigo Mutiprint serves different customers across 15 market segments. Its 20,000sqft production facility houses a range of advanced machines comprising flexographic press, finishing systems, and associated equipment for manufacturing premium self-adhesive labels, in-mold labels, industrial labels, and other specialized products. The company also provides shrink-sleeve packaging, security printing and multi-layer labels.
Reflecting on the company’s journey, Patel stated that over the past decade of its presence in the printing and packaging industry, the company acts as a trusted partner for brands and corporations. ‘In fact, we meticulously follow the core principle of quality over quantity. Our radical transparency, distinctive work culture, and investment in modern machinery are among the key factors that differentiate us from conventional label manufacturers and packaging converters,’ he added.
‘Our ultimate aim is to provide extraordinary label and packaging solutions for extraordinary brands manufactured using the modern machines like the recently adopted Rhyguan Smart-450 from FIG!’ he concludes.
In addition to Rhyguan and Luster, FIG is a sole Indian distributor and service provider of several other leading global brands of flexographic presses, finishing machines and several allied equipment.
