Cosmic Arts installs second iEcho cutting machine
New Delhi printer invests in advanced digital cutting technology to meet growing demand for precision post-press applications.

New Delhi-based Cosmic Arts Private Limited has installed a second iEcho intelligent digital cutting machine to expand its post-press finishing capabilities and meet the growing demand for precision marketing materials from its clients.
The company added the iEcho PK4 1007 machine six months ago, following the successful installation of an iEcho PK 0705 Plus three years earlier, both supplied by Packnology Graphics. The newer machine features advanced capabilities, including the ability to cut materials up to 15mm in thickness and a 450W router accessory for acrylic materials up to 8mm thick.
'This model offers sheet-fed digital die-cutting, including an option for grooving on kappa boards, which in turn facilitates faster production of rigid gift box samples when compared to traditional methods,' said Arun Menon, managing director of Cosmic Arts Private Limited. 'After our satisfactory experience with the first iEcho machine, we were in search of a machine similar to it and capable of providing us digital die-cutting of thicker materials like EVA Foam and others.'
The company, established in 2004, produces a comprehensive range of marketing and promotional materials, including carry bags, envelopes, labels, fridge magnets, tent cards, puzzles, coasters and packaging boxes. The iEcho machines enable high-precision cutting and finishing at the post-press unit, replacing traditional manual methods with automated processes.
Menon highlighted the precision improvements in the newer PK4 1007 model, which incorporates additional camera sensors for enhanced accuracy. The investment supports Cosmic Arts' strategy of continually upgrading equipment to meet the evolving requirements of its clients across various business sectors.
'We constantly upgrade ourselves on all fronts, including our machine portfolio,' said Menon. 'Our investment in the second iEcho machine with additional features eventually helps us improve post-press finishing to a whole new level.'
