Dantex showcases PicoJet 1200 at Loupe Americas

Dantex Group is presenting its full Pico digital inkjet press portfolio at Loupe Americas 2026 in Chicago at booth 6415, led by the PicoJet 1200 DRS and PicoColour 254, alongside new integrated software updates across both platforms and the preview of PAL, its AI operator support system.

The PicoColour 254 is being exhibited alongside the GM DC350 finishing unit, creating a roll-to-hybrid production platform with integrated in-line finishing that transforms the press from a roll-to-roll system into a complete converting platform, which Dantex describes as an entry-level investment for converters seeking broader production capability. New software technology was unveiled across both the PicoJet and PicoColour platforms, targeting quality control, operator workflow, maintenance reduction and uptime improvement.

The headline addition at the booth is PAL, Pico Adaptive Logic, a natural-language AI operator support system integrated into the PicoPilot and PicoCenta interfaces. PAL responds in a natural voice to operator questions covering press functions, production results and maintenance issues, monitors press information in real time and proactively assists if it identifies a fault or emerging issue. Developed in collaboration with Cambridge-based innovation consultancy 42 Technology, PAL is available to experience at the show ahead of its official launch in early 2027, when all new Pico presses will be equipped with it as standard as part of the PicoCare service offering.
