Durst brings Tau G3 Peak to US at Loupe
American debut for high-speed UV inkjet press at Chicago booth 3121.
As a Gold Sponsor, Durst showcases its portfolio of digital and hybrid technologies in booth 3121 at Loupe Americas 2026, giving visitors a look at the future of production. For 90 years, Durst has built a reputation of innovation, expertise and commitment to advancing the industry.
Making its North American debut is the Tau G3 peak, the newest addition to Durst’s digital label offerings. Built on decades of experience and innovation, the Durst Tau G3 peak combines new technologies and intelligence with advanced features. With 1,200 DPI native resolution, speeds up to 328ft/min, automated printhead protection and maintenance, automated color-to-color registration setup, variable data at full press speed, new Durst Automatic Register Control (ARC) and Material Edge Protection (MEP), the Tau G3 Peak brings together reliability, simplicity, performance and highest quality in one platform.
Alongside the Tau G3 peak will be the KJet for inkjet/flexo hybrid print production. Combining Durst’s 1200DPI inkjet technology with Omet’s flexo technology, the KJet is an adaptable production platform designed to give converters greater flexibility with an ultra-short web path; advanced automation and register control; print widths of 13in, 17in and 20in; the option of sleeve or plate cylinder; full or semi rotary die cutting; and 1200DPI native resolution.
Completing the Durst lineup is Durst Workflow Label and Durst Analytics software. Durst’s software ecosystem is designed to connect production, automate processes and provide greater visibility throughout the workflow. By combining hardware, software and intelligent production, Durst continues to provide label converters with tools to improve efficiency and build a more connected production environment.
'Durst has been a driving force in digital label production for decades,' said Steve Lynn, executive director, Durst North America. 'We continue to invest in R&D, and the results are powerful solutions that move our customers and the industry forward. The introduction of the Tau G3 platform is an example of this, along with the KJet, which we successfully introduced two years ago. This year at Loupe, we are not only showing what is possible today, but what is next. As we celebrate 90 years of innovation, we look forward to sharing our vision and future with the label industry.'
