Nilpeter to bring FA-17 to Loupe
Nilpeter will partner with Kurz and other industry suppliers to demonstrate a label production workflow.
At Loupe Americas 2026, Nilpeter will join Kurz and a group of industry partners to demonstrate a label production process.
At the heart of the printing process will be the Nilpeter FA-17, a stable, precise and consistent flexo platform that provides the production foundation needed for demanding premium label and embellishment applications.
Together with Kurz’s embellishment expertise, Nilpeter will demonstrate how advanced flexo technology can help converters combine creative possibilities with reliable industrial performance.
The complete workflow brings together expertise from across the label value chain, including Kurz, Hinderer + Mühlich, Pantec, Wilson Manufacturing, RotoMetrics, Actega, Avery Dennison and UPM. Visitors will see how printing, materials, embellishment, tooling and finishing come together in a real production environment.
At Loupe, Kurz will bring this collaboration to life through continuous live demonstrations that showcase how every stage of the production process contributes to a high-quality label.
Under the theme 're:think what’s possible in print embellishment', visitors to booth 1029 will experience the complete journey, from the first creative concept to the finished label on the shelf. Rather than highlighting individual technologies, Kurz will present an integrated production workflow.
'The most exciting innovations in print embellishment don’t happen in isolation,' said Allan Quimby, head of marketing, Kurz USA. 'They happen when experts across the value chain work toward a common goal. That’s exactly what we’re bringing to life at Loupe Americas. Visitors will experience how collaboration transforms creative ideas into premium labels.'
Throughout the exhibition, visitors will follow the creation of innovative label designs as they move through each stage of production.
Live on the show floor, Nilpeter will demonstrate how advanced press technology provides the stability, precision and consistency required for premium embellishment applications.
'Premium embellishment depends on more than impressive effects – it starts with a production platform converters can trust,' said Martin Teilberg, global marketing manager, Nilpeter. 'By combining advanced press technology with Kurz’s embellishment expertise, we’re showing how converters can achieve both creative excellence and reliable industrial performance.'
From there, Kurz company Hinderer + Mühlich contributes the tooling that enables consistent hot stamping. Visitors will experience how tool accuracy underpins repeatable embellishment results.
As production moves into finishing, Pantec demonstrates how embellishment can be integrated into converting workflows without compromising productivity.
'Innovation only creates value when it fits naturally into production,' said René Abächerli, CEO and head of sales, Pantec. 'Our collaboration demonstrates that converters don’t have to choose between sophisticated decoration and manufacturing efficiency – they can achieve both.'
Supporting the finishing stage, Wilson Manufacturing and RotoMetrics contribute precision-engineered finishing tools that help translate complex designs into clean, repeatable label results. Actega supplies the adhesive technology used in the cold transfer application, supporting consistent transfer quality and reliable performance at production speeds.
Material selection is another essential part of the equation. Together, Avery Dennison and UPM demonstrate how advanced label materials connect creative ambition with reliable industrial production.
Avery Dennison showcases how label materials create the foundation for visually striking packaging and enable brands to realize increasingly ambitious design concepts.
'Great packaging begins long before it reaches the press,' said Carlos Barandas, business development manager for wine, spirits and premium, Avery Dennison. 'When innovative materials and embellishment technologies are developed together, designers gain the freedom to create labels that elevate brands and capture attention at the point of sale.'
At the same time, UPM highlights how the performance and reliability of label materials help translate sophisticated embellishment concepts into robust production processes.
'Creative label design can only succeed when it’s supported by materials that perform consistently throughout the production process. Our collaboration with Kurz demonstrates how our filmic materials with UPM ProCycle adhesive technology enable converters to achieve premium decorative effects while maintaining converting performance and supporting package recyclability,' said Anna Hunt, director of marketing, sustainability and communications, Americas, UPM Adhesive Materials. 'Together, we’re helping our customers bring innovative label concepts to market with confidence.'
Visitors to the Kurz booth won’t simply observe individual machines or products. They will experience how collaboration across the value chain creates tangible value for converters, printers and brand owners alike.
