Edale strengthens marketing leadership with key appointment
Edale has appointed Brendan Martin as senior marketing manager, strengthening its commercial leadership team going into 2026.
The appointment follows the recent arrival of Rob Brown as sales and marketing director. It underlines Edale’s commitment to growth, clarity of messaging and closer alignment between product strategy, sales and marketing.
Brendan joins Edale at a pivotal time for the business, as it continues to develop and promote its latest CartonLine and LabelLine press platforms, including the FL6p and FL4p, and sharpen its focus on supporting converters across labels and folding cartons.
In his role, Brendan will be responsible for shaping Edale’s global marketing activity, strengthening brand presence, and ensuring clear communication of Edale’s value across markets, channels and customer segments.
His focus will include campaign development, product marketing, thought leadership and closer integration with Edale’s sales and service teams.
Lachlan Buirds, managing director at Edale, said: ‘Brendan’s appointment builds on the momentum we’ve created with Rob’s appointment. As we expand our product offering and refine our market focus, it’s critical that our marketing reflects the confidence, capability and ambition of the business. Brendan brings fresh energy and a clear perspective at exactly the right time.’
The appointment supports Edale’s broader strategy to invest in people, products and partnerships as demand grows for more automated, efficient and resilient flexographic production across both labels and cartons.
Brendan added: ‘Edale has a clear opportunity to challenge how converters think about flexo, workflow and production efficiency. With a strong product roadmap and an experienced commercial team in place, my focus is on helping the market better understand what Edale stands for and how our technology supports real production outcomes across labels and cartons.’
