Contact Originators installs AV Flexologic cutter

Contact Originators has installed an AV Flexologic Exact 50x80 laser-based flexo plate cutting and engraving system at its Dukinfield facility, strengthening its plate production capabilities and supporting more efficient workflows for its print partners and OEMs.

The Exact 50x80 delivers high-precision plate cutting with repeatable cut quality and enclosed safe operation. For Contact Originators, the investment reduces material waste through optimized plate layouts, eliminates multiple manual preparation steps, improves consistency in plate preparation and lowers the risk of errors.

The system also opens up added-value applications, including plate engraving, traceability marking and smarter workflow integration, enabling plates to play a more intelligent role within the wider production process.
