CRG receives environmental certification
The Maratech facility in Marathon, Wisconsin, has achieved the ISO 14001:2015 certification for environmental management.
The Channeled Resources Group (CRG) Maratech facility in Marathon, Wisconsin, has achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification for environmental management. Combined with the ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification held by its Maraliner Release Liner Division since 2022, the certifications reflect CRG’s continued focus on both quality and environmental responsibility.
ISO 9001 establishes requirements for a quality management system designed to support consistent performance, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. ISO 14001 provides a framework for systematically managing environmental responsibilities, including environmental performance, compliance obligations and environmental objectives.
Together, the certifications provide independent recognition of the management systems CRG has put in place to support two priorities that have long been central to the company: delivering consistent quality for its customers and continually improving the way it manages its environmental responsibilities.
'We’ve always believed that doing things the right way matters, whether that’s taking care of our customers, delivering consistent quality or being responsible about how we operate,' said Cindy White, president of Channeled Resources Group. 'These certifications are a nice validation of the work our team is already doing, while also challenging us to keep looking for ways to improve.'
CRG is a third-generation, family-owned and operated company serving customers through its pressure sensitive materials, custom release liner and label businesses. The company has also made sustainability a significant part of its operations and industry involvement, including efforts to find alternatives to landfill disposal for manufacturing by-products.
ISO 9001 is a quality management standard that emphasizes customer focus and continual improvement. ISO 14001 provides organizations with a systematic framework for managing environmental impacts and improving environmental performance.
