Enfocus launches AI chatbot

PitStop 25.11 update introduces a beta version of the Botus assistant for PDF proofing software.

Enfocus has released its PitStop 25.11 update featuring Botus, an AI-powered chatbot designed to help users maximize the PDF proofing software's capabilities.

The update also brings macOS 26 (Tahoe) compatibility, a new layer panel for efficient layer editing, the ability to select unnecessary clipping objects, improved detection of thin objects and additional productivity enhancements.

'Botus represents a huge leap forward for PitStop,' noted Loïc Aigon, product manager of PitStop at Enfocus. 'With Botus, we want to help our users to extract the maximum value out of PitStop, enabling them to chat and request assistance to find answers to their issues much more quickly. We're looking forward to collaborating with our community to ensure it can get even better with feedback.’

Additional features include the selection of colors by tints in the DeviceN color space and the generalization of the 'Save to' pop-up when working with Standard resources. The release also enables users to constrain lines to 45-degree angles when drawing paths by holding the shift key and introduces a new default preflight profile.
