Amcor grows with Marfred

Australia-based global packing specialist Amcor has acquired Marfred Industries, one of the largest independently owned packaging manufacturers and packaging distributors in the US, with six locations in California.  Its services include folding carton manufacturing, design and marketing, structural design and more.

Amcor said Marfred will significantly augment its value proposition and position in the market.  The combined businesses will provide new products, additional services and technical support for all customers.  The business will be backed by Amcor's extensive global supplier base, logistics and operational infrastructure.
