Roll-2-Roll relaunches website
The redesigned platform gives engineers unrestricted access to product specifications and an industry-first cost calculator.
Roll-2-Roll Technologies has launched a redesigned website, giving engineers and plant managers unrestricted access to product specifications, 3D CAD models and configuration details without registration or sales contact.
The Stillwater, Oklahoma-based manufacturer of fiber-optic web handling sensors has removed all data gates from its platform, making every product specification, interactive 3D model and branded PDF spec sheet immediately available. The site also introduces a Cost of Inaction Calculator, which allows manufacturers to quantify annual operating costs associated with legacy web handling equipment across four categories: sensor repositioning, manual width measurement, pneumatic and hydraulic guide maintenance, and legacy equipment downtime.
The platform includes complete specifications for all sensor families, controllers, actuators and web guide systems, alongside more than 138 video pages and industry-specific content covering sectors including label and narrow web, battery manufacturing, film extrusion, pharma and converting. An online SKU configurator allows engineers to select product variants, retrieve part numbers and download 3D STEP models without contacting sales.
'Engineers and plant managers have told us the same thing for years: they know their legacy equipment carries hidden costs, but they have never had a straightforward way to quantify them,' said Aravind Seshadri of Roll-2-Roll Technologies. 'We built a tool that does exactly that and made it available to everyone. No login, no sales call, no strings attached.'
Roll-2-Roll Technologies says configurators for web guides and actuators are in development, with additional application-specific content planned.
