Victory Lighting appoints global technical director

Victory Lighting has appointed Neil Avner Çikurel as global technical director, taking on responsibility for the technical direction of its solutions business alongside broader technical sales support and product advancement across its infrared (JR) and ultraviolet (UV) ranges. 

Çikurel brings over 25 years of engineering, R&D and business development experience in UV and JR technology to the role. A mechanical engineer with an MBA, he co-founded RND, a specialist JR and UV research, design and manufacturing business, in 2010 - a role he continues in alongside his new position with Victory, bringing an active, hands-on engineering and manufacturing perspective to the support and technical strategy he provides across its solutions business.

Across his career he has led technical and commercial teams across the sector - from equipment design and R&D through to international market development, strategic partnerships and major customer relationships.

In his new role, Çikurel will work closely with Victory's engineering, sales and applications teams - supporting the design of bespoke JR and UV configurations for the company’s solutions customers, advancing technical capability across its product ranges, and strengthening the technical sales support it offers customers globally.
