ANI acquires shrink ink specialist

ANI Printing Inks has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of Macro Australia Pty Limited, a leading independent supplier in the Australian and New Zealand market specialized in UV-Flexo inks, adhesives and varnishes for narrow web converters. Macro is a pioneer in UV-Flexo technology and has developed free radical curing inks to be used on shrink sleeves with the highest degree of shrinkage known in the market.

On December 1, 2004, ANI Printing inks and BASF Printing Systems merged and formed a new company for printing inks, printing plates and pigments/ resins for the graphics and packaging industry.
