AVT names Yariv Avisar as chairman

AVT has named Yariv Avisar as the new chairman of the company’s board of directors, replacing Dani Falk who resigned from the AVT board last month for personal reasons.

Yariv  Avisar's career includes roles such as vice president and general manager of Hewlett Packard’s Scitex division

Avisar brings more than 16 years of global business management, including extensive experience building versatile, effective executive teams, spearheading organization-wide scale-up efforts, and overseeing international business growth initiatives via strategic planning. Avisar's career includes roles such as vice president and general manager of Hewlett Packard’s Scitex division, as well as CEO of SCR, which was acquired by Allflex in 2015.

Avisar also serves as board chairman of GlucoMe, a provider of diabetes management technology, is an active director at Human Eyes and a director of Unitronics, which develops technologies for automatic parking and logistics automation.
