Comexi, a manufacturer of machinery for the flexible packaging converting industry, has expanded and reinforced its global services by founding a dedicated organization, Comexi Technical Services (CTS), under the new leadership of Francisco Artacho as corporate service director and head of worldwide customer service.

Artacho has taken up this new position in order to strengthen field engineering services, customer relations, enable local availability of spare parts and to develop preventive maintenance programs

Through CTS, Comexi will increase the availability of field engineering services and local availability of spare parts in six global regions: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Asia and Russia.

The main reasons for this expansion is to provide enhanced customer support on a local basis and to support the growth of the company on a global basis.

CTS will be led by Artacho in the role of corporate service director. His professional career, of over 25 years, has led him to hold positions of responsibility in multinational companies, and prior to his arrival at Comexi served as technical services director for Iberia at Gambro Lundia, service department director for Spain at Jungheinrich, technical service manager at Leica Geosystems and head of metrology technical service for Iberia at Agfa, with whom he worked for more than 17 years.

Artacho has taken up this new position in order to strengthen field engineering services, customer relations, enable local availability of spare parts and to develop preventive maintenance programs.

Jeroen van der Meer, managing director and chief executive officer of Comexi Group, said: ‘Specialized local support and services are essential for our customers and the new CTS organization fits into our ambition to strive for excellence and customer satisfaction. In this sense, Francisco Artacho and his team will focus to provide optimal response to customer needs in a proactive way.’
