DuPont confirms double promotion in light of consolidations

DuPont has appointed Patrick E. Lindner to lead DuPont Performance Materials, while Rose Lee will head up DuPont Protection Solutions.

Rose Lee is currently president of DuPont Protection Technologies having joined the company in January 2015

Both of these reporting segments emerged after consolidation of four previous businesses, DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers, DuPont Performance Polymers, DuPont Protection Technologies and DuPont Building Innovations.

Lindner is currently president of DuPont Performance Polymers. He joined DuPont in 1996 as a chemist in Fluoroproducts. He spent the first four years of his career in research and development, and held leadership positions in a range of marketing and venture roles. In 2006, he was named global business director of DuPont Teflon fluoropolymers, later served as director in the DuPont Corporate Plans and Strategy group and then as global business director for DuPont Electronics & Communications. He was named president of DuPont Performance Polymers in March 2014.

Lee is currently president of DuPont Protection Technologies having joined the company in January this year as global business director for DuPont Kevlar and Aramid Intermediates. She was named president of DuPont Protection Technologies in October. Prior to DuPont, Lee was vice president and general manager of Innovative Materials business segment as Saint-Gobain Corporation.
