Flint makes appointments to support global sheet-fed UV growth

This has seen Jim Buchanan, originally hired as EMEA business development director for the UV range in June 2013, expand his role to a global position in recognition of the importance placed on this sector.

Richard Wilson, formerly EMEA UV product director, has taken over as global UV OEMs and EMEA dealers UV technical director, and now coordinates OEM UV activities on a global basis and supports key UV technical projects at EMEA dealers, while Trevor Amps joined the company in June last year as EMEA UV technical application manager.

Further key appointments have been made in North America, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region, each of which underpins the long term strategy to grow business in the sheet-fed UV market globally, Flint Group said.

In another development, Flint Group recently moved the production of sheet-fed inks for the EMEA market from Baranzate, Italy to its center of excellence in Trelleborg, Sweden in order to consolidate UV ink production to provide technological and logistical benefits.
