Grafokett appoints new CEO

Robert Östman has been named as the new CEO of Swedish label marker Grafokett.

Robert Östman previously held the same position for the Helsingborg-based Beneli

Östman previously held the same position for the Helsingborg-based Beneli. Before Beneli, Östman held a number of management positions at Enercon, Kone and WM-data. He has solid expertise in leading and developing both private and public companies, and has worked nationally and internationally. One of his strengths is driving the development of new customers, markets and concepts forwards in strong purpose-oriented partnerships, explained the board of Grafokett.

Current Grafokett CEO, Bernt Nehl, remains in post until Östman takes over on April 3, and said: ‘I’ve known Robert for a long time and know that he represents the sort of leadership I am keen to see in Grafokett’s operations. His deep commitment as a company leader has resulted in him also having board positions in Packbridge and Finat. Thus, in my opinion, Robert has exactly the expertise that Grafokett now needs.’

After Östman takes over, Nehl becomes a Senior Advisor providing support for the company’s CEO.

Grafokett increased its turnover by more than 50 percent in 2016, necessitating an experienced leader who can bring strategic expertise to the company’s management and further develop international expansion.

‘I feel honoured and inspired by this opportunity to lead the company’s strong team,’ said Östman. ‘Seeing what Grafokett has achieved so far is fantastic. At the same time, I see many exciting possibilities for future expansion.’
