Polymount seeks growth in German speaking countries with appointment

Polymount has appointed Nico Jasper as an account manager for Germany as it seeks to sustain and grow its presence in the country.

Nico Jasper entered the flexo market in 2005 with Rotec, latterly Flint Group

Jasper entered the flexo market in 2005 with Rotec, where he started as export manager before moving to the customer service/sales operations department, taking care of Rotec’s global distributor and agent network. After Rotec’s merger with Flint Group, he became a member of the product management team, where he was responsible for the Rotec and Nyloflex ITR brands produced in Ahaus, Germany. Subsequently, Jasper became responsible for the technical sales, globally supporting the OEM and key account business for sleeves and adapters.

Before joining Polymount, he held the position of regional sales manager for the Benelux and Nordic countries, Eastern Europe and Russia for the sleeve business. During his time at Rotec, and later at Flint, he gained a good understanding of the flexographic printing process, with Polymount describing him as ‘a great addition to our sales team’ owing to his knowledge of sleeves and his experience within the flexo business.

Polymount CEO Jan Willem Boers said: ‘We are very pleased that Nico has joined Polymount, with him on board we strongly believe that we will sustain existing sales and grow our market share in Germany over the next few years.’
