Treofan bundles customer-orientated developments into one organization

Treofan has bundled all of its expertise relating to customer-oriented product development into one organization covering Service & Solutions and Know-How & Competences.

Service & Solutions includes the technical service function, where requirements are defined in collaboration with the customer, as well as business development and product management functions, which handle coordination with production. Know-How & Competences includes technology, where material properties are defined, and quality management, which ensures maximum reliability and also handles issues of approval, for instance.

Described as a ‘tech powerhouse’ by the BOPP film specialist, this new organization will be headed by Dr Marco Holst and Dr Yvonne Düpre.

A steering committee comprising representatives from Treofan’s three business units – Packaging & Labels, Tobacco & Technical Films and Treopore – ensures the unit takes a holistic approach.

‘The customer is always at the center of our collaboration,’ said Holst. ‘Thanks to this dynamic powerhouse, we can now meet their requirements even faster, more flexibly and more reliably.’

Treofan almost doubled its operating profit in 2015.
