Konica Minolta acquires a business division of Monotech Systems
Konica Minolta Business Solutions India, the Indian sales subsidiary of Japan-based Konica Minolta, has acquired the production printing business of Monotech Systems. The acquisition will come into effect from June 1. Monotech Systems is currently a distributor for Konica Minolta in India.
With offices across India, Monotech Systems has a large customer base. Upon completion of the acquisition, Konica Minolta will operate out of 40 locations, providing direct sales and service support to its customers. Under the agreement, all Konica Minolta customers with Monotech Systems will be transferred to Konica Minolta India. Monotech Systems’ employees supporting this business will also be transferred to Konica Minolta India.
The company’s other three distributors - HCL Infosystems, KMI Business Technologies and TechNova Imaging Systems - will continue to operate separately.
