L&L, Maxcess to host precision die-cutting webinar on May 9

The free, one-hour webinar is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. CDT on May 9, and will focus on precision die-cutting in today’s world of thinner liners, faster press speeds and a changing workforce.

Labels & Labeling (L&L) and Maxcess Group, which includes RotoMetrics, are planning to host a webinar on precision die-cutting next month.

The free, one-hour webinar is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. CDT on May 9, and will focus on precision die-cutting in today’s world of thinner liners, faster press speeds and a changing workforce.

‘Maxcess understands how winding equipment influences tension, how tension influences guiding, and how guiding and tension together influence pressure and your ability to die-cut and slit the web effectively,’ said Keith Laakko, Maxcess global vice president of marketing. ‘We are actively investing in Industry 4.0 solutions, creating automated systems that help customers reduce dependency on manual labor and minimize human error.'

Maxcess will cover how tension and pressure specifically impact die-cutting and how converters can optimize press and material performance.

In addition, Maxcess tooling and tension experts will cover key topics, share tips for increased productivity, and answer questions to help converters work better, faster and smarter.

The upcoming webinar will be chaired by Chelsea McDougall, L&L group managing editor, and presented by Maxcess senior product and application specialist Cris Harper and technical sales manager Cris Slay.

The experts, who each bring decades of press experience, will explore thin film liners, the impact of pressure and how to effectively use tension for optimal performance, as well as tips for improving productivity.

‘Join our experts to learn how your press components can work better together,’ Laakko said. ‘Maxcess product brands are industry leaders in winding, unwinding, slitting, guiding, vision systems, tooling and precision, and performance rolls to help you work better, faster and smarter. We offer global product brands, including Fife, Tidland, RotoMetrics, Magpowr, Webex, Valley Roller and Maxcess Vision Systems.’

A Q&A session will follow with Maxcess technical advisers. A recording of the webinar will be available on www.labelsandlabeling.com after the event.
