MPS agent reports EF/EB interest at Labelexpo India

Genius Flexo Machinery said the EB label press from MPS garnered broad interest at Labelexpo India, while an order for an MPS EF multi-substrate flexo press was confirmed at the show to a customer in Bangladesh.

EB presses are engineered with MPS Crisp.Dot Light, iSet and iStop technology to minimize set-up waste, set-up time and optimize operator user-friendliness, while reducing the initial investment and overall printing costs. The EF multi-substrate press is designed for both label production and flexible packaging printing. With the use of servo-drives, all press settings are automated which reduces set-up waste and offers simpler machine operation.

Vijay Pareek, director of Genius Flexo Machinery, said: ‘With the introduction of the new EB press, we can now offer a mid-range press solution built with MPS quality and robust engineering, at a very affordable cost. We see a huge market potential in India for the EB, which was confirmed by the number of EB quote enquiries received during the show.

‘The highly automated MPS EF-multi-substrate press also generated interest, with one EF press sold at the show to a new MPS customer in Bangladesh. MPS has at present 10 installations across the Indian subcontinent.’
Speaking directly about Labelexpo India 2014, Pareek said: ‘This was by far the best label show we have had in India.’
