BW Converting prepares for Loupe India

Baldwin technologies to feature at Loupe India with 100 percent inspection.

BW Converting has announced it will showcase its Baldwin print inspection technologies, including the Guardian PQV, OLP and Defender View, at Booth D10 at LOUPE India 2026, held at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, from October 29 to November 1.

The Guardian PQV is a 100 percent print inspection system that combines automated setup with real-time defect detection and reporting. Its Wizard-iQ interface simplifies job setup and gives operators central access to job data, sensitivity settings, lighting, barcode and color controls, while automated Delta-E color monitoring, barcode recognition, object-based inspection and live defect mapping reduce manual intervention. PDF-based job setup and job recognition let converters prepare inspection projects ahead of production, which reduces setup when jobs change and supports flexo, digital and hybrid production.

OLP is an offline proofing technology and Defender View a web viewing and inspection system, and together with PQV they cover pre-production verification, real-time monitoring and 100 percent print inspection. BW Converting says its technologies reduce dependence on manual inspection at a time when converters face shorter runs, more frequent job changes, more complex graphics and limited experienced press operators.

'Label and packaging converters are being asked to manage increasingly complex production requirements while maintaining stringent quality standards,' said Raj Rana, regional sales manager at BW Converting. 'Inspection technology has evolved to help them do that with greater automation and less operator intervention. By identifying quality issues earlier and giving operators better information about what is happening on press, these systems can help converters reduce waste and deliver more consistent output.'
