Finat announces 46th Finat Label Competition

The annual Finat Label Competition has entered its 46th year and remains as popular as ever. It is not only an opportunity for label printers to promote and highlight the advantages and uses of self-adhesive labels as an effective marketing, promotional or identification tool, but also a means of receiving global recognition from the international label industry for their achievements.   

Winning a Finat Label Competition award is widely recognized as the pinnacle of achievement for label printers and converters worldwide. It is a powerful endorsement of quality, innovation and technical excellence, one that can attract new business, raise profile within key end-use sectors, and boost employee pride and motivation. 

The competition shines a spotlight on the strength of self-adhesive labels and narrow web flexible packaging (up to 570mm), while challenging printers to push technical and creative boundaries. It celebrates the craft, innovation and versatility that drive the label industry forward. 

Entering also delivers tangible exposure. Winning entries benefit from extensive coverage across international label media, the Finat website and Finat publications, with added opportunities in local and business press. Selected winners will be showcased at the European Label Forum (May 27-29 in Seville) and may even go on to represent Finat at the prestigious L9 World Label Awards 2026 which will be judged prior to Loupe (previously known as Labelexpo) Americas this September. 

Small, medium-sized and even multinational label enterprises are herewith cordially invited to take part in this prestigious competition and show us their most innovative concepts and breathtaking designs. 

Finat’s judging panel is the most severe critic of the printed labels entered and while they want each label to succeed and always start off with a very positive attitude to the judging task, they will be looking for faults. Participants are encouraged to ensure their entries are spot-on and the best of all the printing jobs they have completed. Reading the rules and supplying all the information, labels and end-use products correctly is also a must. 

Entries are accepted until February 12, 2026, with a maximum extension until February 20.
