FPA opens awards entries

The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) has opened entries for the 2027 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Competition, recognizing outstanding innovation across the flexible packaging industry. Online submissions are due by November 12, 2026.

New this year, all entries must be submitted through FPA's new Achievement Awards portal, which gives entrants a centralized platform to complete and submit their entries. The annual awards showcase advancements in packaging design, materials, technology, sustainability, functionality and other areas that improve performance, address packaging challenges or expand the possibilities for flexible packaging.

'Flexible packaging continues to evolve alongside the needs of the markets and consumers it serves,' said Dan Felton, president and CEO of the Flexible Packaging Association. 'The Achievement Awards Competition gives us an opportunity not only to recognize outstanding work, but to showcase where the industry is headed and the innovations that are helping move it forward.'

Judging will take place on December 2 and 3, 2026, and winners will be announced on Tuesday, March 9, 2027, at FPA's annual meeting. Eligibility requirements, award categories and submission guidelines are available at flexpack.org/achievement-awards, and entries must be submitted through FPA.AwardsPlatform.com.
