FTA and Smithers announce partnership
Flexographic association and market intelligence firm to share data and content.
The Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association and Smithers have announced a strategic partnership to advance knowledge and commercial opportunity across the flexographic printing industry, with the agreement formalized on July 6, 2026 in Leatherhead, UK.
Under the partnership, Smithers will contribute exclusive content to Flexo Magazine, the FTA's publication, providing members with market data, insights and analysis drawn from Smithers' research into flexible packaging, labels and printing technologies. The two organizations will also collaborate on joint webinars and strategic initiatives targeting flexographic printers, converters, ink and substrate suppliers and brand owners.
In return, the FTA will support Smithers' growth plans by expanding its reach within the flexographic printing community and providing access to senior industry professionals and decision-makers across North America and beyond.
'This partnership marks a significant step forward for the flexo community, bringing together the FTA's deep industry connections and Smithers' world-class market intelligence to deliver real value to our members,' said Nathan Ridnouer, president of the Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association. 'Flexographic printing is a strategically important sector, and we are delighted to be working alongside the FTA to support the industry with the data and insight it needs to grow,' added Adam Page, vice president of reports at Smithers.
