INX can design contest deadline approaches

Entries for the seventh annual Colored by INX Can Design Contest must be postmarked by March 30.

INX International has announced that the entry deadline for its annual Colored by INX Can Design Contest is approaching, with brand owners, design agencies, marketers and metal decorators invited to submit eligible beverage can designs by March 30.

Now in its seventh year, the contest accepts any commercial metal packaging beverage can design produced by an INX customer before January 1, 2026. Each submission must include a completed submission form, an electronic design and the printed can, and must incorporate at least one color from the INX Color Catalog, the industry's only true color standard offering 650 metal color swatches developed specifically for metal decorating.

An independent panel of five judges will select the top five finalists, to be announced in mid-April. Returning judges Sara Jacks and Marshall Thompson will be joined by Hart Print co-founder Stephanie Hart and beverage industry editors Jessica Jacobsen and Michelle Russell. Public voting via INX social media channels is scheduled for April 20-22, with the winner announced on April 29.

Past winners include Great Lakes Brewing, the contest's only two-time champion, and most recently Karbach Brewing Company in Houston, whose Dunkels & Dragons seasonal lager featured bold graphics that helped the limited release sell out.

'The Colored by INX Can Design Contest is a celebration of our customers and the artistry behind every can,' said Jeanie Morris, marketing and promotions manager at INX. 'Each year we are impressed by the exceptional work our customers produce, and we're excited to see the entries that will arrive before the deadline.'
