Mark Andy hosts 120 students in Warsaw

Polish facility gives high school visitors hands-on experience of flexo and digital printing.

Mark Andy's European Technology Center in Warsaw hosted approximately 120 students from four high schools across three Polish cities for its 2026 Students Open Day, giving participants direct exposure to modern label and packaging printing technologies.

The program included live demonstrations of three Mark Andy press platforms: the Evolution Series E5 flexo press, the Digital Series HD HighSpeed 1200 UV inkjet system and the Digital Series Pro Plus toner-based press. Students also took part in hands-on workshops covering photopolymer plate mounting, print job preparation, registration setting and press operation, with many encountering a professional production environment for the first time.

Presentations by Lukasz Chruslinski, European sales manager, covered current market trends including hybrid technologies, RFID in printing and the Digital Product Passport concept.

An additional highlight saw students print their own photos onto labels produced specifically for the event.
