Phoenix Challenge golf outing returns
Annual fundraiser returns to Monroe, North Carolina on September 23.
The Phoenix Challenge Foundation has announced its annual Golf Outing will take place on September 23, 2026, at Stonebridge Golf Club in Monroe, North Carolina, with registration opening at 8:00 a.m.
The event is the foundation's largest annual fundraiser, typically drawing close to 100 participants, and supports its mission of workforce development in flexographic and package printing education. Funds raised support the annual high school and college competitions, scholarships and the foundation's expanding curriculum resources.
New additions for 2026 include a hole-in-one competition with a trip to The Masters as the prize and a Bump 50/50 raffle supporting the PCF Scholarship Fund. The event also serves as a gathering point for the Phoenix Challenge Alumni Group, bringing together former high school and college competition participants for networking.
The foundation highlighted several milestones in 2026, including the launch of the Howard B. Vreeland Virtual Learning Campus, US copyright of a standalone Flexography in the Classroom textbook leading to a formalized Phoenix Challenge Flexo Certification, and an expanded scholarship program for students focused on label and package printing education.
Companies unable to attend are encouraged to contribute through sponsorship or direct donation to the PCF Scholarship Fund.
