Beijing Founder Electronics launches European subsidary

In order to provide local sales and service support to its increasing number of customers in Europe, Beijing Founder Electronics Limited has announced the launch of a European subsidiary, Founder Europe SA, based in the prestigious Bastion Tower in the center of Brussels, Belgium.
J. Derek Fearn, Founder’s European sales and marketing director, has been appointed to the board of Founder Europe SA and takes on the additional responsibility of general manager, running day-to-day operations.
Assisting Derek Fearn is Philippe Duval, technical support manager, who will also assume responsibilities for customer training and assist with operations.
Mr Duval previously held senior product and support positions with Agfa both in its worldwide headquarters in Belgium and in Wilmington, USA, where his responsibilities included managing engineering quality assurance, customer support and documentation.
‘We are lucky to have someone of Philippe’s knowledge and experience to lead our support organization in Europe,’ said Derek Fearn. ‘He will add a great deal of professionalism and enthusiasm for making sure that our RIP, workflow, color proofing and other products more than meet customers expectations, and that we provide the level of support and training for our distribution and OEM partners that will set us apart.’
