Belarusian printer installs Edale Alpha

BelInterMarket, based in Brest, Belarus, has moved into flexo printing with the installation of a 5-color Edale Alpha 250mm wide compact flexo press. The company previously produced labels by letterpress machinery.

As well as contact with Edale, BelInterMarket attended the Bobruisk Printing Open House earlier this year to see live demonstrations of the Edale Gamma and Alpha and discuss the machine’s benefits with the print and technical departments. The order was placed in early 2011 but was delayed until July 2012 due to the unforeseen financial crisis in Belarus.

Mikhail Soroka, chief of production, commented, ‘We decided to purchase the Edale Alpha instead of any other machine due to the simplicity and the excellent print quality achieved from the press. Over the years we have come across a number of companies with Edale Alpha’s within Belarus and we could not fault them. The service that we received from the sales and technical team at Tusson – Edale’s Belarusian agents – were invaluable in our final decision.’
