UK egg producer uses Fix-a-Form labels from Denny Bros
UK converter Denny Bros has helped Fridays, one of the largest egg producers and packers in the country, to present an on-pack, money-off promotion to tempt new customers.
Formerly ‘The Hearty Egg’, the newly renamed Hearty brand has ‘Save 30p’ and ‘Save 50p’ promotions flashed across a bright red Fix-a-Form multi-page label. The 4-page, resealable Fix-a-Form, which also contains nutritional information, has an extended semi-thermal base label to allow for overprinting of variable data including essential date coding and packing details. Some 180,000 machine-applied Fix-a-Forms were produced for the campaign.
The marketing manager of Fridays said: ‘The Fix-a-Form was exactly the right medium for this promotion as it allowed us to add a striking advert for the lower-priced Hearty eggs to the pack which is clearly seen right at the point of sale.
‘The main purpose of this campaign is to engage customers to buy as a trial, encourage them to visit our newly updated website and give them all the information they need about our growing range of healthier and tastier products.
‘We have used a Fix-a-Form before to add recipe information to one of our brands but this is the first time we have rolled out a price offer in this way. We will be able to track the growth in sales after the promotion to see how effective the campaign has been.’
