CCL Label Monrovia moves to new State-of-the-Art facility

CCL Label’s Southern California operations will be moving in the spring of 2003 to a newly constructed facility located in Upland, California, approximately 20 miles east of its current location in Monrovia, California.
Located conveniently between Interstate 10 and the 210 freeway and just minutes away from the Ontario International Airport, the 46,500 sq. ft. facility will be home to the A-1150 Label Press.
‘Our new state-of-the-art facility will have the latest technology in plate making equipment, Automated Vertical Storage systems and a dust free waste removal system,’ stated Marc Oosterlinck, general manager.
‘Our team of engineers led by Jack Backer, from CCL Label Sioux Falls, has created a layout and design that conforms to Pharmaceutical GMP requirements and provides for an enhanced work flow, superior customer service, cleanliness and the safety of our employees. Special attention has been paid to the environmental impact of our factory.’
To avoid production disruption during the move and to add to CCL’s Upland production capacity for future growth, two additional A-1150’s presses have been acquired and will be installed in the facility.
