Chagay Plus installs Hontec flexo press

Chagay Plus has installed a second Hontec flexographic press, following its initial investment in 2024.

The newly installed machine is an advanced 8-color hybrid flexo press, designed to deliver high-end label production with enhanced flexibility and efficiency. Building on the performance of the first Hontec press, the latest investment reflects Chagay Plus’s continued confidence in Hontec’s technology and support. 

This hybrid configuration integrates multiple printing and finishing capabilities in a single platform. In addition to the 8-color flexographic units, the press is equipped with a gravure station for high-density ink applications and a rotary silk screen unit, enabling premium embellishment effects such as tactile finishes, spot varnish and high-opacity printing. 

The combination of flexo, gravure and screen printing technologies allows Chagay Plus to expand its product portfolio, targeting high-value labels across sectors such as cosmetics, beverages, and specialty packaging.  

According to Hontec, the hybrid press is engineered for precision, stability, and quick job changeovers, helping converters improve productivity while maintaining consistent print quality. 

The repeat order highlights the growing recognition of Hontec’s hybrid solutions in the global label market, as converters increasingly seek versatile equipment capable of handling complex applications on a wide range of substrates. 

With this second installation, Chagay Plus further strengthens its production capabilities and positions itself for continued growth in premium label manufacturing.
