Holostik installs Weigang ZJR-350G

Holostik India has installed a Weigang ZJR-350G flexo press with 12 colors. This installation highlights Weigang’s commitment to asset lifecycle protection and engineering for the high-end label market.

One of the key features of this ZJR-350G is its strategic interoperability. Weigang’s R&D team engineered the press to ensure full compatibility with magnetic rollers and tooling from Holostik’s existing 2018 ZJR-330 assets. This backward compatibility aligns with Weigang’s 'client first' engineering philosophy, protecting the customer’s previous capital investments while providing a seamless transition to a wider web width and more advanced automation.

Equipped with a full Siemens servo control system and an intuitive 15in HMI, the ZJR-350G is optimized for high-speed precision (180 m/min). Key technical highlights include specialized peeling and a composite device, designed specifically for security labels with aggressive adhesives. This device facilitates efficient waste stripping, reducing material loss and enhancing production sustainability.

The press features dual cold-foil units with Italian RE tension control and a 12-color unit with a specialized leveling system for premium varnishing and security coatings.

A 32-inch BST stroboscope allows for real-time, high-definition inspection of micro-text and intricate security features across the 350mm web.

By integrating Hefeng dual-sided corona treater and advanced web cleaning, the ZJR-350G ensures optimal substrate preparation, reducing chemical consumption and energy waste.

With the installation, Holostik aims to position itself as the manufacturer of sustainable, high-security manufacturing in the Asia-Pacific region.
