Zoom Prints installs Hyde flexo press from GSP

The investment expands the Delhi-based company’s label production capabilities, complementing its digital infrastructure with capacity for longer runs.

Delhi-based Zoom Prints has installed a Hyde i3S 330 10-color flexographic printing press, supplied by Graphic Solution Providers (GSP). The installation strengthens the company’s ability to serve customers across short-run digital and higher-volume flexo label requirements.

The investment marks a significant step in Zoom Prints’ expansion into labels and packaging. Having entered the segment through digital printing, the company added flexo capacity to meet the evolving requirements of its growing customer base.

According to Atul Bhatt, founder of Zoom Prints, the decision was driven by the need to retain customers as their order volumes increased. Offering both technologies enables the company to support customers beyond their initial short-run requirements and keep their longer-run work within the business.

The Hyde press installation included a package of anilox rollers and cylinders selected around job requirements. This provided the company with tooling to support its move into conventional label production.

For a team rooted in digital printing, the investment also meant building expertise in flexographic workflows, tooling and production planning. Zoom Prints sees these capabilities as essential to building a more comprehensive label business.

The company’s approach brings together digital printing for shorter runs and flexo production for larger volumes, supported by finishing and embellishment capabilities. The objective is to provide customers with an end-to-end service as their businesses and label requirements grow.

Zoom Prints was established in 2020 for short-run labels and packaging, following the founding team’s earlier commercial printing venture, Printmart, in 2013. Its expansion into flexo reflects a broader strategy to develop the labels business and pursue opportunities beyond the competitive commercial printing market.

Alongside its equipment investments, Zoom Prints has appointed a production manager and dedicated sales and marketing personnel. It is also recruiting experienced conventional printing professionals for leadership roles to support further growth.

With the Hyde i3S 330 supplied by GSP, Zoom Prints has broadened its production offering and strengthened its ability to serve customers through successive stages of their label requirements.

‘This marks GSP’s first Hyde installation in India, and we are pleased to support Zoom Prints as it expands its label production capabilities,’ said Rajat Joshi of GSP. ‘The Hyde i3S 330 complements the company’s digital infrastructure, enabling it to handle longer runs and support customers as their volumes grow. Our focus is on backing the investment with technical support and service to help the team build its flexo operations.’
