Luminite shows elastomer sleeves at Loupe

Luminite Products Corporation, a provider of direct laser-engraved elastomer print sleeves, printing plates and plate cylinders, will present direct engraved elastomer sleeves at Loupe Americas 2026. 

Unlike traditional photopolymer plates, elastomer sleeves are produced as a seamless cylinder and laser engraved in a single step. This eliminates plate joins, reduces vibration and delivers continuous graphics ideal for backgrounds, patterns and high-speed label production. 

These sleeves are engineered for durability, chemical resistance and long-term stability. They withstand aggressive inks, repeated cleaning cycles and demanding press conditions without swelling or degrading. The result is a longer service life, fewer press stops and more consistent print quality across every run. 

Direct laser engraving also removes the variables of exposure, washout and mounting, giving converters sharper dots, predictable ink lay down, and repeatability.  

The company will also be presenting a new way to produce embossing with fewer steps and greater intention. This replica will represent the core of that approach.
