Clever Solutions installs Durst press

Clever Solutions Group has installed a Durst Tau 340 RSC E digital press at its facility in Poland as part of a strategic move into digital label production.

The labels and flexible packaging printer conducted a detailed tender process to compare digital printing systems before selecting the Tau 340 RSC E based on print quality, substrate versatility and color stability.

'For us, this wasn't just about changing technology. It was a responsible decision for the company, for our people and for the future. Digital is a must today, but we wanted to be sure we could afford it and that it would truly give us an advantage,' commented Tomasz Grzeszczuk, board member and sales director at Clever Solutions.

The company tested the press on demanding materials during the evaluation phase. 'We printed on very demanding materials, and what we saw really surprised us. Perfect quality, zero compromises, no issues with color stability. Simply put: it worked right away,' Grzeszczuk added.

Krzysztof Tyczewski, owner of Clever Solutions, explained the company's investment strategy. 'We've already learned that investing in oversized technologies or cheap alternatives ends badly. This time, we wanted technology that would fit us, not the other way around.'

The installation increases the company's flexibility, consistency and print quality in short-run work with fast turnarounds across multiple substrates.

LFP Industrial Solutions, Durst's partner in Poland, supported the project from testing through installation and operator training.
