Interprint purchases Gidue M1 Digital Flexo

Tomas Iglesias, managing director of Interprint, first decided to invest in Gidue technology in 2012, purchasing the 370mm wide Entry Level Combat MX Easy-to-go, with eight flexographic print units, eight UV lamps, one die-cutting station, cold foil and full set of printing tools.

The new 370mm M1 Digital Flexo 8-color Flexo UV with Exceldie technology for automated exchange of die-cutting stations, has been installed in Interprint’s plant in Leon.

The investment is linked to the introduction of Digital Flexo system, which fully automates the whole printing and die-cutting process. Iglesias commented: ‘With M1 Digital Flexo we can let the operator just concentrate on the printing quality and organize the work flow around the press to achieve the highest productivity. We are sure that this additional investment will help us to face the growing market demand’.
