Under the terms of the agreement, Sweden’s Convertec will distribute the DSI UV inkjet label printers, DSI UV inkjet inks and related products.

Convertec Graphic Technics AB was founded in 1987, and markets and sells converting machines and equipment for the Nordic packaging industry. Its customers are mainly within the flexible packaging industry, the label industry, and the carton and corrugated industries.

Convertec already represents suppliers from the US, Germany, Spain and Italy, including Mark Andy, Uteco, Iberica, Omega and Vega.

Stork Prints said the partnership extends its presence in the Nordic narrow web market and better positions it to supply systems for applications ranging from labels and packaging to security and industrial labels.

Wilfried Koopman, managing director at Stork Prints, said: ‘We are very enthusiastic about working together.

‘Convertec is a solid name in the label printing market and has a great deal of experience in the graphics printing industry. We are confident that our partnership will lead to better levels of satisfaction and improved service for our customers throughout Scandinavia and beyond.’
