Stork Prints to celebrate 50th anniversary
Stork Prints is to mark its 50th anniversary at Labelexpo Europe 2013, taking place on September 24-27 in Brussels, Belgium.

The Dutch company first introduced rotary screen printing at the ITMA event in Hannover in 1963. To mark its 50th anniversary Stork Prints will be staging demonstrations of its technology across the four-day show, and host a “happy hour” every day.
One of the main products on its stand will be the DSI UV inkjet label printer, which prints at speeds up to 700 sq m per hour. The DSI is modular in design, so applicable for applications from stand-alone digital printing to use in complete lines with in-line, semi-rotary converting.
Its stand will also include the new variLEX hybrid direct laser exposer for digital pre-press, which is to launch at the show.
Further, Stork Prints is participating in the Inkjet Trail, which will see six inkjet press manufacturers produce a selection of food, pharmaceutical and industrial labels using the same sets of origination, on the same range of substrates. See the Inkjet Trail schedule here.
Bas Hoijtink, commercial manager at Stork Prints, said: ‘Looking back in time I am proud to say that Stork Prints products and innovations created a standard in the textile and graphic printing industries. As of today our products create an added value solution in optical and functional design for end users.
‘Looking at global trends in the market I am confident to say that we have chosen the right direction in the past and more importantly, for the future in digital and rotary screen printing.’
