Ex-Sherman Treaters employees set up new company

Corona Supplies Ltd is a newly established UK based company, specializing in the manufacture and supply of equipment, spares and ancillary products for corona treatment applications within the plastic and flexible packaging industries.
The company comprises of a team of industry specialists who formed the new venture following the decision to close the UK and world headquarters of Sherman Treaters in Thame, Oxfordshire.
Stuart Greig, director of Corona Supplies and ex sales director of Sherman Treaters explained: ‘a group of key ex-Sherman employees, including UK-Sales manager Becky Stother and production manager Stuart Moore, felt that there was a significant gap in the market following the decision to close the Sherman Treaters offices. Corona Supplies can offer spares and equipment sales and after-sales service to customers not only in UK but world-wide, which is backed by an experienced team boasting nearly 50 years in corona treatment.’
Operating from the heart of the UK, the company is able to supply spares and consumables ex stock for customers using components sourced direct from a known supplier base. Greig added: ‘continuity of spares supply is vital in ensuring that corona treaters deliver the required consistency of treatment. By utilizing the known supplier base, Corona Supplies is unique in being able to give this guarantee.’
In addition to spares, surface tension test ink and pens, and ancillaries for existing equipment, Corona Supplies can also specify and supply new corona equipment.
