Ashe Converting Equipment, the UK-based manufacturer of narrow, mid and wide web converting equipment, has appointed Netherlands-based Packtion as its agent in the Benelux region.

Packtion, run by managing director Maarten van Bergeijk, has decades of experience serving the package printing industry in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and serves converters producing labels, flexible packaging, corrugated board and more. It represents leading brands including Mark Andy, Koenig & Bauer, Flexo Wash and Heaford, among others.

Matthew Godbold, sales director for wide web machinery at Ashe Converting Equipment said: 'We are delighted to appoint Packtion as our agent in Benelux. Its portfolio covers both narrow and wide web, so it's a perfect fit.

'We've been looking for a reputable agent in the region for several years, but it is challenging to find the right company with expertise in both areas.'

The deal between the two companies was finalized at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona.

Godbold added: 'We already have numerous installations in the region but it's a market where we can gain a lot more traction with the right agent in place, and we believe Maarten is the right person.

Maarten van Bergeijk, managing director of Packtion said: 'We are delighted to add Ashe Converting Equipment to our portfolio. Their high-precision slitter rewinders and converting solutions perfectly complement the range of premium brands we represent.

'Ashe's strong reputation for quality, innovation and reliability fits seamlessly with Packtion's commitment to offering the best-performing technologies to the Benelux packaging and label industry. In addition, their excellent regional support and the fact that they are truly great people to work with make this partnership a perfect match. We look forward to a long and successful collaboration.'
